Refreshers Party

By John Baldry • Jan 6th, 2010 • Category: News

While all you lot have been having a lovely relaxing break over the festive season, we at Secret Discotheque have been trawling newsagents the length and breadth of the country buying up stocks of Refresher bars to give away at our Refresher Parties. We’re giving away 1500 (at least) at each of our events in Cambridge and Brighton. It’s all happening on Thursday 14th January 2010 at The Place in Cambridge and at Coalition in Brighton. Full on cross decade partying will occur as we bring you all the necessary singalong anthems and shameful discotheque classics. Get your teeth rot on!

School Disco! Thursday 19th November

By John Baldry • Nov 11th, 2009 • Category: News

The Secret Discotheque School Disco takes place at The Place on 19th November. We’re channeling the ghosts of School Disco’s past with a dancefloor packing selection of pop classics from the 80s and 90s provided by King of the Disco Christian Mayne and the irrepresible Miss Charlie!. If you remember the lyrics and the dance routines, we encourage you to sing along and shake your thing! Come dressed in school uniform (naughty or otherwise) for cheap entry!

Fireworks Spectacular!

Hear all the 70s, 80s and 90s bangers (get it?) on Thursday 5th November at The Place in Cambrdge and Coalition in Brighton. This will be very awesome no matter what city you happen to be in. Watch the fireworks, get chilly, then come SD and get warm by dancing like a nutter to retro dancefloor killers!

Thriller Party – Thursday 29th October

By John Baldry • Oct 23rd, 2009 • Category: News

It’s that time of year again where the undead spring to life to party for one night only, in a non-ironic sense, to bad 70s, 80s & 90s Pop. If you’re a zombie or if you can dress like one (but maybe not smell likeone) then we cordially invite you to join our evening of dead good bad music at the Secret Discotheque Thriller Party. We’ll probably even play Thriller at some point…
