The phenomenon that is Secret Discotheque shows no signs of slowing and as the weather indicates that indeed spring is on the way, we thought we’d celebrate by throwing a special party. Inspired by Nena’s classic 80’s hit “99 Red Balloons,” Coalition will be awash with (yes, you’ve guessed it)…

As well as this special treat, there will be the usual SD party atmosphere, the best in 70s, 80s, & 90’s Pop plus all the uncool tunes from your youth.

The 1990s spawned the internet, Tony Blair as PM, the Spice Girls and, of course, the phrase “Cool Britannia”. To celebrate the golden period of Brit Pop and Girl Power, Secret Discotheque presents “BORN IN THE 90s!” on Thursday 25th Feb @ Coalition, Brighton and Saturday 27th Feb @ The Cube, Southampton!

Love is in the air this week at Secret Discotheque with Valentines Day just around the corner. We’ve got a a MAJOR amount of love hearts to shower everybody with at SD on 11th in Brighton and on 13th in Southampton. It’s going to be a night for lovers not fighters, and if you’re single who knows, you may find love!

Wispas cost 16p when they first came out in 1983. They now cost considerably more than that but on Saturday 6th February at Zee Bar Chichester and at The Cube Southampton we are giving them away FREE to the first party people through the door We’ve got a palette of them eager to get munched! So get in early and grab yourself what must be the best choccy bar from the 1980s!

Due to popular demand we will be giving away a whole load more SD T-Shirts at Secret Discotheque on Thursday 4th February 2010 at Coalition Brighton!
